Bean Roast - Fortinos Upper Centennial, Stoney Creek

I am pretty sure that most people have had a quick cup of coffee at the grocery store, Fortinos on Upper Centennial in Stoney Creek, Ontario is pretty much exactly the same as all the other grocery stores in most respects but has a mini roaster in the store. It always smells good going in the store while they are roasting. I have had their Americano as well as their coffee many times. The store lacks the personality of a proper "cafe" that we traditionally think of when getting a coffee. They are quick, friendly and obviously has access to all kinds of food to go with it. I had a nice big cup, friendly service and variety of coffees to choose from (including an organic one) with milks, milk alternatives and sweeteners as well. The flavour of the coffee I had was fine, and certainly is a better choice than most drive-through places. It gets a passing grade. When a neighbourhood coffee is not easily accessible a decent cup may be found unexpectedly at the grocery store.☕😛
